Meet the Team

Mark Lindsay, Founder

TLC R&R was formed in in 2006 by Mark Lindsay as a sister company to Tender Lifts and Cranes Ltd. The prime reason was to separate refit work from the manufacture of new build equipment. Mark spends the majority of his time on board yachts, managing and directing the technical issues of fault diagnosis, engineering and maintenance and has an excellent working relationship with many shipyards across Europe and globally. Prior to founding TLC R&R Marks’ experience grew working as an independent Marine Engineer and consultant travelling worldwide on a variety projects. These ranged from project managing a full restoration of a 1934 classic gentleman’s motor yacht to project management consultant on a complete engine room installation on a 60m triple engine jet drive motor yacht. Previous to this he spent 4 years as a partner in a classic yacht restoration company – having returned from 10 years as a Chief Engineer and the Captain of private and charter yachts (motor & sail) in the Mediterranean, USA and Caribbean. Marks’ engineering path began when he as 17 and gained his skills training in commercial shipping as a marine engineer working in UK and European shipyards and ports.

Due to the material being so thin and versatile – it gives us the ability to create bespoke heating elements and innovative screening solutions to facilitate almost any design. This means you can tailor our heating materials around your design rather than design around your heating. Also you can ensure your future clients/guests will be safe from harmful EMC radiations with our screening materials.
